Profile: Floyd Memory Gardens
Floyd Mortuary and Crematory was established in 1973 by Henry and Flora Hill Floyd with the sincere desire to minister to families in Robeson County. Mrs. Floyd had lost her first husband in a tragic accident, leaving her a widow with five children to raise. Her desire was to serve families with compassion. Anyone that was going through a loss similar to what she had experienced needed help and she knew the community would benefit from caring individuals showing this concern and care. The Floyd family now consists of three generations serving in the Robeson County area. Funeral homes are located in both Fairmont and Lumberton, NC. One continuing goal has been to staff these facilities with individuals who are caring people. Our staff includes funeral directors, a minister, office staff, a certified public accountant and funeral assistants, over 25 members of our staff, that truly care about the families of our community. Both facilities are equipped with modern furnishings as well as large visitation areas and chapels. Our focus continues to be our families. We remain ‘Dedicated to Service’.
Floyd Memory Gardens is well-equipped to display memorial or tribute videos of a loved one as they both offer video packages and have the means to display the tribute at the service.
